1st Day of School

Today Andrew and Reagan started school.  I cannot believe I have a sixth grader! What?! How did that happen? It truly seems like yesterday that he was starting kindergarten...

This first day of school thing for him was old hat, no big deal. He learned long ago to just go with it regarding pictures. :)

He decided that he wanted to just ride the bus instead of me driving them to school. So, Lily and I walked them to the bus and hiked back up the hill.

It's a rainy, chilly first day of school.  Can't wait to see them after school!

 

It's a BIG day for Reagan!  1st day of 2nd grade, 1st day in a new school, 1st day riding the bus!

I laughed that she had her sign upside down, took the picture then told her to look at her sign. :)



 



Thank Yous

Ok, I think all the birthday thank yous have arrived at their destinations! Oops. Actually as I type this, I know one has not, but hopefully she'll be just as excited when she gets in in the mail. :)

As y'all may remember, I made the party invitation, but when it came time for the thank you cards, I was so tired all done with my creating, so I ordered them from http://www.tinyprints.com/.

 I actually used one of their designs for birthday invitations and simply customized it into my thank you card. Their thank you card choices were great too, but I found I was able to do exactly what I wanted to with this design. The colors were exactly what I wanted, the design and flower were perfect.
 I chose to do use Tiny Prints for the first time because when I was looking for thank you cards, my Costco membership actually gave me a discount with them!  They turned out EXACTLY as I had hoped!

And for those of you who have been a part of Lily's first year...near and far...thank you!
