Yummy Review & Giveaway

A few weeks ago, I received a package from Yoplait yogurt through My Blog Spark to review.  I don't know if you've seen in the store recently and on commericials, but in the sea of greek yogurts, Yoplait has released a lactose-free yogurt! 

I personally am not lactose intolerant nor do I have any lactose issue, however, my husband has a lactose intolerance, so I was really excited to try this out!

I love yogurt!

Yoplait is always my go-to brand, so who better to try something new that my favorite brand?!

I have to admit though, when I headed off to the grocery with my coupons to try it out, I wasn't entirely sure I was going to love it, despite my love of Yoplait yogurts.  I think I expected a different texture with the lactose-free version.  I was super surprised at how there was ZERO texture difference.  I bought all the flavors available at my grocery store--strawberry, cherry, vanilla and peach.  George had just been craving yogurt right before this product was available to us, so it simply could not have come at a better time.  His favorite is the strawberry while mine is the vanilla, although I think they're all tasty, creamy and truly cannot tell the difference between the lactose-free and original light I typically buy. Score!  Something my husband can eat without worry of upset stomach and something I feel comfortable buying!

Yoplait Lactose-Free contains 50% of the recommended Daily Value of calcium, with vitamins A and D in every cup. Lactose Free contains no artificial sweeteners--that is HUGE!

My package came with a lunchtote, a spoon, a bowl, a VIP coupon to purchase the lactose-free yogurt, and two gel packs. It's a bright chartruese--which is my husband's favorite color by the way!   The lunch tote is PERFECT for throwing in some yogurt and snacks for on the go for anyone. I've used it for Lily and I to have in the car for our days on the go. The gel packs keep things cold, so we don't have to worry about any spoiling.
