The Arrival

One random day in April, my mom called and said, "Check your email."   What I found was a flight itinerary! Surprise!! yay!  We weren't expecting to see her until Lily's birthday later this summer!

A little while before she arrived she called me and said, "You can't bring everyone to the airport." I said, "Ok." thinking she had a lot of suitcases.  She said, "I'm bringing a surprise for Andrew."  I knew then what  who she was bringing!  My nephew! He and Andrew haven't seen each other since we moved from Arizona in September 2007.  I cried! I was so excited for both of those boys!

I almost blew it 9837192038 times in the next week by saying things to Andrew like, "Well, we can just give that shirt to Brayden when he comes...I mean, Oma can take it back to Brayden when she's here." Whew.

Finally the day arrived~ Andrew getting to see Brayden and Oma getting to see Lily after 9 months!

We headed out to the airport to pick them up!

Lily waved at everyone walking by as we waited for their arrival...which was later than we had hoped.  Andrew wanted to hide behind a column to suprise Oma thinking that I hadn't brought him with me haha! Little did he know the surprise would be for him!

One thing I was kind of worried about with Oma and Lily was that Lily would cry when she saw her since she's in that stranger mode and my mom hasn't seen her since she was itty bitty.  But, no worries...

Andrew and Brayden were excited to see each other...after all this time!! They were a little suprised at how each of them had grown too. :)
