30 Weeks!

How far along are you?

~30 weeks, 3 days!!!

According to Babycenter:

"Your baby rivals a good-size cabbage in weight, tipping the scales this week at 3 pounds. (Length: about 15 3/4 inches, head to heel.)"

What symptoms are you experiencing?

~Lotsa heartburn this week

~Some contractions

~Less swelling than last week, but still some. Glad it's less!

~Continual carpal tunnel annoyance (my thumb is asleep as I type)

How are you feeling?

~Sleeping is difficult --finding a comfortable position, trying to turn over, hands falling asleeep

~I'm surprised that I've had so much heartburn lately and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it

~I'm pretty worn out at the end of the day, but for the most part (aside from the waddling) I'm feeling well!
~Loving feeling this baby move!

Any Midwife/Doctor appointments/ultrasounds/tests this past week and how did they go?

~Had a doctor appointment this past week and all was well! Lily's heartbeat in the 130s, my BP normal, gained 3 pounds--regular checkup.  We're now on the every 2 week schedule, so I'm back on the 14th for a regular checkup and a growth scan! Excited to see her again!! :)

Anything big happening in your personal life (moving, work related, family, etc.)?

~Just the usual drama that unfortunately has become "the norm". 

Any fears or hopes you want to get off your chest?

~I'm just excited for Lily to continue to keep cooking as long as possible and continue growing! I'm excited to see her at our next growth scan. Hoping we get everything done before she arrives! Ack!

Any food cravings? 

~peanut butter & strawberry jelly sandwiches with a glass of milk

Tell us your favorite thing about your pregnancy this week.

~Hearing Lily's heartbeat at the doctor and feeling her moving so much!

~G putting the stroller together. ♥

What has been the most surprising thing about this pregnancy?

~This week, I've been surprised at having so much heartburn this late in my pregnancy and how fast the entire pregnancy has gone!!!

Baby brain moment of the week?

~If I don't write it down, forget it!!!
I drove the wrong way to work this week. Not quite sure where I was going, but I took a wrong bridge!  hahahaha

How has your sex life changed with your changing body if at all?

~Primarily just finding a comfortable position is main change. Sometimes that is pure comedy!
