A Day of Amusement

On Labor Day, we went to Kennywood for George's annual work picnic!

Kennywood is a local amusement park that has been in Pittsburgh since 1936. My parents and my brother and I went when I was a kid before we moved to Arizona when I was 6 years old.  Now, each year we take our children.  This year Oma was here with us, so it was neat for me to be there again with my mom AND my children.

It was a sunny day with no rain in sight! The weather did call for cooler temperatures, but we lucked out and had a perfect weather day. Not too hot and not too chilly.

Perfect for rides!

Lily "watched" from her front row seat while Andrew and Reagan were on the ride behind her:
Daddy took his role seriously all day:

He also won Lily her first prize:

Doesn't she look thrilled???

Lily also had her first ride on the carousel that day too:

Andrew and Reagan love to play the carnival games!

George won me a big stuffed penguin (I ♥ penguins)...it was the 1st time I'd ever had a stuffed animal won for me at a fair or carnival type place. :)
It was a day filled with stuffed animal winning, good food to eat, rides, fun and family...

and for Lily --sleep.
